Thanks to all of you who
helped identify this fraudulent seller and get them off
eBay. Now we need to pay attention because they will surface
again with a new name. Contact me if you discover them on
eBay again and I will continue with this web page....Mike E.
"VUSACOINS"
IS
RIPPING US OFF!!
Don't let it happen to YOU!!
Dear fellow eBayer who is interested in
purchasing from "vusacoins".
I want to
inform you about e-Bay seller "vusacoins"
which is owned by Rich and Vanessa Rollins of
Venessa's USA Coins - 2321 Morena Blvd # C - San Diego, CA 92110. Their phone #
is:
(619) 275-7305
This seller has previously used
the selling names of usacoins1
and
usacoins2.
Click on those names to see their negative feedback pages. This seller has a
history of being difficult to contact and shows the same pattern of being
difficult to deal with in all 3 eBay names.
This seller is not
incompetent. They are actually very smart and have a specific plan to increase
their profits at our expense. If you read the most current feedback of their
vusacoins business you will see they are blaming computer problems for the
reason behind a lot of their non-contact complaints. Go back 2 years and you
will see the same type of complaints and excuses from them in their other eBay
business names. Their feedback rating is dropping fast. I
would estimate they will be ending the use of the
vusacoins
name soon and starting up with another name.
Now, check this out.
Below is a new "About Me" page
vusacoins has created to explain
away their poor business practices. If the computer problems
they mention below are so severe, why do they continue to
post auctions on eBay? If you had all these computer
problems wouldn't you take a week off from selling and FIX YOUR
PROBLEMS before posting more auctions? And what about all
the other negative feedback prior to this problem? Should
that be forgiven? I guess you, the BUYER, will have to
decide!!

I ordered 7 coins and paid by
PayPal. My original order never arrived. I emailed "vusacoins"
and was informed my order was "covered" because I paid using
PayPal. Rich Rollins of "vusacoins" stated on
5-7-2004 he would reship my order. I have had no replacement
order arrive. I have emailed many times and have
called and left messages for Rich. I have even left a
toll free number for Rich to return my call on. As of
today's date of 6-22-2004, no replacement order has
arrived, no return email has arrived, and no
return phone call has been received.
Shame on me for not
reading his negative history before I bid! If I
would of checked out their negative feedback more closely
after I had bid, I would of retracted all of my bids.
In no way
am I saying you should not do business with "vusacoins".
I am only sharing my "vusacoins"
buying experience with you. Opinions stated on this page are my own and may
differ from Rich Rollins and/or "vusacoins".
Good Luck
in your eBay purchasing choices!

A few
responses to this site:
Hi Mike, I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the
good work. I was burnt by vusacoins also. I just saw
your webpage, http://www.usarmypatches.com/vusacoins.htm
and wanted to say his rip-offs continue. I did some
checking with someone that did receive their order
and they provided me with the following address
information. I wanted you to know so that others
that are ripped off have another contact address for
Rich and Venessa Rollins. Their order was sent in a
padded envelope with the return address on it of:
Venessa's Uniform Shoppe & Accessories 3834 Baker
Street San Diego, CA 92117-5705 They included a
"Thank You" letter that gives an address of:
Venessa's USA Coins 2321 Morena Blvd #C San Diego,
CA 92110-4137 PH- 619-275-7305 FAX-619-275-7307
Email: VUSACOINS@aol.com I am not saying this
other business is a rip-off but it is another
contact point for anyone that is trying to find ways
of contacting Rich and Venessa. I hope this helps
others. Thanks again.
Dear mikron54,
Hey, I like what you did with vusacoins negative
feedback situation!!!! It is awesome!!!! When I read
the part about "shame on you because you didn't
fully read his feedback"...I felt the same because
like you, I have 100% feedback and this was my FIRST
bad experience. So until now, I would OCCASIONALLY
check the sellers' feedback. Of course now, I read
every single one! I don't understand why he's not
banned from eBay!?
Dear mikron54,
Nice web page on vusacoins, at least he responded to
your emails, he won't even respond to mine. I'm
giving him 48hrs to ship the product or I will file
a complaint with pay-pal and my credit card co.
Greetings:
Thank you for your information. I am a patient eBay
buyer, but I understand your frustration. I have
purchased 6 coins from this character and i have
still not received them or any response from my four
Emails. In fact, my last Email was returned saying
that it was undeliverable. How does a scam artist
like this remain on eBay? In checking his
feedback, (which I should have done before bidding),
I see all the negatives he has, and yet he is still
allowed to sell on EBAY. At any rate, what did you
do about him? I have sent him about $80.00 via
PayPal. Any suggestions. Thanks again.
Thank you to a very
helpful eBay seller who has shared their knowledge
about "vusacoins"
poor business practices with me. They wrote:
"The following
links might be useful to some of the buyers
ripped off. These people (fraudulent sellers)
belong in jail, not selling on eBay. The buyers
need to file police reports with their local PD
- some may not want to take the report but for
each offense no matter how small will be lumped
together and at this rate it is well over the
1500.00 for a felony charge of theft. Besides
there is wire fraud & mail fraud."
Please note that the above buyer accidentally checked positive
feedback when they really intended to give negative feedback. I have changed the
green icon to red for the purposes of displaying on this page...Mike
paid for
product 23may, no product, no contact. strange, no problem
